Flip a card, then grade how well
you remembered the word:
- Don’t remember
- Nothing comes to mind when you see the word.
- Vaguely remember
- When you see the word and think for a few seconds,
you would know what it means — recognition isn’t
immediate, the meaning isn’t instantly available
in your head.
- Remember passively
- You understand it immediately when you see it in a
sentence or hear someone use it — but you can’t
find the word yourself yet when you want to use it
in writing or speech.
- Remember actively
- You can use it on the go in a conversation, without
preparation.

Remember passively and Remember
actively each fill a dot under the card — fill
both in a row and the word counts as
learned.
- The other two grades empty the dots — keep practising
until they stay green.
- Swiping is a shortcut: right = remembered, left = not
yet. Use the buttons for the finer grades.
- Progress saves by itself. Next time, study just the
words you haven't learned from the wordlist page.
